ChristianaCare Surgical Services at Foulk Road is looking for a Senior Medical Assistant.The Surgical Surgery team at ChristianaCare is made up a group of extremely talented, dedicated, and kindhearted surgeons in a wide range of specialties. From minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery to traditional "open surgeries - our team members have the experience and expertise to help our patients reach the best possible surgery outcomes. The care team includes surgeons, advanced practice clinicians, registered nurses, medical assistants, and office assistants. Surgical Services at Foulk Road is located at 1401 Foulk Road, Suite 207 in Wilmington, DE.As a senior medical assistant, you will be responsible for the delivering and maintaining quality patient care. -You will be assisting providers in the examination and treatment of patients with virtual and on-site appointments. -You will operate as a team leader and mentor of office staff in the practice to facilitate functions and duties.
-Work Schedule:

• This is a full-time Monday to Friday position (8am to 4:30pm).
• Medical Assistant may have to cover the Newark practice once or twice a week on an as needed basis.

    Education Requirements:
    • High School Graduate or GED required.
    • 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant is required; 3 years' experience is preferred.
    • A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
