As a full time -Intake Coordinator -you will work out of our office in Avenue North, North Wilmington. Following orientation this individuwl will work Monday through Friday, 9am-5:30pm and an occasional part of a weekend day.

The successful candidate will:

• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete and timely in order to successfully meet federal and state regulations
• Enter referrals and validate insurance
• Review accuracy of fields on the plan of care based on CMS Medicare Conditions of participation
• Run reports to ensure plan of care and OASIS documents are completed timely by clinicians for review and are locked based on organizational benchmarks and regulatory requirements
• Upload documents into medical records.
• Researches and corrects clinical data entry errors; report compliance concerns related to federal and state guidelines immediately to manager or Corporate ComplianceEducation and Experience Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Possess healthcare experience
  • Working knowledge of health care delivery systems and understanding of insurance coordination of benefits.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
