It all begins with you.The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Marketing and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Our guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.The Business Control position with the PVSI Control Executive organization will support the Deposit Products Group. The leader will be responsible for designing, executing, and monitoring a front line risk and control program for specific Deposit Products Group control processes and products including Disclosures and Deposit Product Communications. -- The candidate will oversee teams responsible for the identification, assessment, monitoring, and management of non-financial risks related to business activities, products, processes and controls. This candidate will also be responsible for providing adequate coverage of business and product specific risk management across risk domains and facilitate an aggregate, end-to-end view of risk.We are looking for a collaborative leader who will initiate action and manage change in a fast paced environment as well as possessing strong relationship management, influencing, vision and execution skills. -- Ideal candidate will have a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement while making timely and difficult decisions.Successful candidates will distill complex concepts, businesses, and processes across multiple teams into simplified and targeted solutions while communicating those concepts effectively and ensuring that all deliverables are met. They will use process and analysis skills to identify business problems and build compelling fact-based strategic recommendations. They will also build and maintain strong credible relationships with key stakeholder groups including the PVSI Control Team Executive, PVSI Business Unit Officer, PVSI Risk-Aligned Control Teams, PVSI Control Support Teams, PVSI Business Management, and Independent Risk Management.Additional responsibilities will include:------ Interacting across multiple senior manager roles in both the Deposit Products Group business and newly created PVSI Control Risk-aligned and Support roles------ Proactively lead the Deposit Products Group BU-aligned teams to document the risks and controls associated with the key business processes in telling a process-based story on the control gaps related to all non-financial risk including compliance, operational, model, reputational, and strategic------ Challenge the business to define and execute flawlessly PVSI end-to-end processes and related controls including product lifecycle management, product design and development, rewards offers and embedded benefits, new product and service test and pilot, product launch, existing product evaluation, product lifecycle management, and digital payments------ Tie all control breaks and issues to business processes and complete an aggregate view of process risks for the Deposit Products Group organization------ Transition previous Deposit Products Group issue management, remediation, compliance assessment, governance, and other risk-aligned and support activities to the dedicated team to allow focus on the business process and control gaps impacting Deposit Products Group customers and the Deposit Products Group business.Location: Charlotte, NC, Wilmington, DE and Minneapolis, MN- other PVSI hubs locations may be consideredAs a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 8+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 4+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
  • 3+ years of management experience

      Other Desired Qualifications
      ------ Demonstrated experience with disclosures to include operations or risk and controls------Experience assessing the adequacy of policies, procedures and processes (specifically the process compliance and operational risk controls within a large complex organization)------ Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding Regulation CC, DD or E------ Ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment.------ Strong understanding of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure appropriate and effective risk mitigation controls are in place------ Working knowledge of PVSI relationships and transaction processes------ Ability to influence and consult strategically across a large organization and with various levels of leadership/stakeholders------ Deposit Product Group Banking experience (including the products, operations, processes, customer interactions and where the manifest risk)with strong knowledge of the overall financial services industry and regulatory environment------ Experience building and executing risk based programs or business processes------ Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to process multiple tasks simultaneously------ Proven leadership ability to drive successful execution of business initiatives------ Ability to plan, prioritize and set goals------ Proven ability to build dynamic and high performing teams

      Job Expectations
      • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
