It all begins with you.The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company---s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo---s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.The Enterprise Operations Group is an enterprise function within the Chief Operating Office. The Operations group consists of approximately 35,000 team members in the US and 28,000 team members in India and Philippines. This group is responsible for building a more unified, more integrated approach to Wells Fargo---s business operations functions. This includes contact center operations, client-servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions. By taking a more integrative approach to these functions, Wells Fargo will be able deliver a more consistent experience for our customers and operate more efficiently.This analytics leader will be part of the Enterprise Operations Data & Analytics Group (ODAI). Specifically, this analyst will be focused on driving analytic and reporting insights that will cover horizontally all operational disciplines which includes Consumer Small Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Investment Bank, Wealth and Investment Management, Wells Fargo India Philippines and new efforts including Payments, Innovation and efficiency efforts and other associated programs.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Design and deliver exceptionally actionable insights and Key Performance Indicators to drive business objectives
  • Guide rapid, iterative analytical practice to empower nimble decision making for Agile transformation
  • Democratize access to insights by bringing insights to the fingertips of all levels within the organization
  • Conduct regular analytics reviews and critiques, elevating analytics to world-class standards
  • Collaborate with members of cross-functional teams and advocate for customer centric analytics practices
  • Develop and implement Metrics Excellence initiatives to ensure end-to-end data integrity from systems of record (SOR) to end users. SOR includes but not limited to: Hogan (deposits), FDR (credit card) and M2 (digital) etc.
  • Maintain an understanding of big data trends and practices with the goal of establishing a strong data driven culture in Wells Fargo
  • Interface with all major Wells Fargo databases such as EIW, C2T, BMG, ECCOS, MDSS etc. as well as Hadoop technologiesLocations: Wilmington, DE; New York, NY; Charlotte, NC; Chandler, AZRequired Qualifications
    • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
    • 2+ years of SAS programming experienceDesired Qualifications
      • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
      • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
      • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsOther Desired Qualifications
        • Advanced data mining and quantitative supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques (such as CHAID, random forest, boosted trees, Bayesian modeling, support vector machine learning techniques)--
        • Proficiency in developing advanced optimization algorithms is critical in order to deliver solutions that maximize profitability/minimize costs or achieve desired business objectives under given constraints.
        • Experience using a variety of data extraction and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Oracle, Teradata and SQL Server preferred.
        • Experience scripting code in Visual Basic desired. --
        • Strong business management experience
        • Root cause analysis experience.
        • Experience with strategic analysis and consultancy methodologies, organization design and effectiveness principles, and employee engagement methods
        • Subject matter expertise in relevant consumer lending businesses
        • Experience working across multiple business units
        • Track record of success in collaborating with, partnering with, and influencing senior leaders within the organization
        • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, especially for executive level management
        • Proven ability to proactively solve problems and develop strategic recommendations with objective rationale
        • Success in developing a vision, purpose and direction for a team and demonstrated success in carrying it forward as a visible leader
        • Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization
        • Ability to perform effectively in an ever-evolving environment and successfully address multiple, high-priority matters
        • Experience leading large-scale change efforts and/or large and complex initiatives
        • Proven success in assessing complex situations, identifying organizational and operational needs and developing/implementing strategies to address those needs
