Job Summary: Performs various financial reporting and analyses functions applying independent judgment and account principles in compliance with company policy and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). *Essential Responsibilities:

  • Complete account reconciliations in a timely manner in the time period specified by management
  • Supports month-end and year-end closing process
  • Maintain and measure key operating KPI's and drive improvement
  • Support & complete financial and management reporting as required
  • Assists with monitoring and analyzing department performance to budget, compile variance analysis for management review
  • Assist with monitoring margin drivers and variances and coordinate actions with other functional teams
  • Calculate and lead discussions with appropriate personnel surrounding POC calculations for project-based businesses
  • Assists with government rate calculations, government audits, and the filing of the annual incurred cost submission.
  • Assists in the creation of annual business plans
  • Manage plant fixed assets
  • Assists with audits conducted by the Company's outside audit firm.

    • Must be able to work on government contracts directly or access shared data resources (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident of the U.S.)
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing setting
    • Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently without significant supervision
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
