Job Summary:
Performs various financial reporting and analyses functions
applying independent judgment and account principles in compliance
with company policy and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(GAAP).
*Essential Responsibilities:
Complete account reconciliations in a timely manner in the time
period specified by management
Supports month-end and year-end closing process
Maintain and measure key operating KPI's and drive improvement
Support & complete financial and management reporting as
required
Assists with monitoring and analyzing department performance to
budget, compile variance analysis for management review
Assist with monitoring margin drivers and variances and coordinate
actions with other functional teams
Calculate and lead discussions with appropriate personnel
surrounding POC calculations for project-based businesses
Assists with government rate calculations, government audits, and
the filing of the annual incurred cost submission.
Assists in the creation of annual business plans
Manage plant fixed assets
Assists with audits conducted by the Company's outside audit
firm.
Recommends, updates, and writes policies and procedures reflective
of sound accounting principles

Qualifications:
Must be able to work on government contracts directly or access
shared data resources (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident of the
U.S.)
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or Business Administration with
emphasis in Accounting
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing setting
Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently without significant supervision
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
Experience in Government Contract Accounting is a plus
