Accountant is responsible for the cost accounting, inventory
valuation and variance analysis of the 3 manufacturing locations.
This role will also lead the change to standard costing
methodology, support gross margin analysis and provide insight to
drive profitability, working closely with Operations, Supply Chain
and the Commercial team. Davlyn Group is a fast growing, privately

increase productivity. DGH is a leading manufacturer of technical
textiles, fabrics and yarns used in the appliance industry,
industrial markets, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to

functions. Standard Costing and Cost Structure Own annual/periodic
cost roll-ups: BOMs, routing, labor standards, overhead rates and
burden allocation across 3 companies. Partner with Operations for
time studies and rate updates; model impact of wage, material and
overhead changes Harmonize costing methodologies, item
categorizations and cost centers across plants. Variance Analysis
and Manufacturing Performance Assist in the monthly close process
by analyzing PPV, labor efficiency, absorption and overhead
spending. Assist in the rolling forecasts and annual budget Team
with Operations to prepare KPI packs for Senior Management
Inventory Accounting Controls Establish and maintain uniform cost
accounting policies and overhead pools Ensure accurate inventory
valuation and E&O reserves Lead cycle counts and physical
inventories; set count frequency, tolerances and root-cause
corrective actions Evaluate and implement inventory controls:
BOM/routing changes, standard cost updates, inventory adjustments
and approvals. Own cost master data governance across ERPs to drive
data integrity Margin, Pricing and Commercial Support
Product/customer/plant margin analysis by item; including impacts
of freight/duty Model price changes and SKU rationalization changes
Be a key contributor in the implementation of new ERP systems
Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance 5
years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing industry;
multi-site textiles strongly preferred Deep knowledge of standard
costing, BOM’s/routings, variance analysis and inventory accounting
SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. EMPLOYMENT
TYPE, CLASSIFICATION & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is an on-site,
full-time, exempt position. The standard work schedule is Monday
through Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Departmental demands may
necessitate additional work outside of the standard work hours,
especially during the monthly close. POSITION TYPE: This role is an
individual contributor, someone who provides specialized work &
expertise and contributes directly to the Organization’s success
without managing other people. TRAVEL: This position may require
occasional travel to visit the manufacturing locations. PHYSICAL
