Solutions Senior Manager plays a leading role in driving best
practices supporting Comcast Global Audit (CGA) by identifying,
monitoring, and mitigating risk through the integration of advanced
data analytics, engineering, automation, and business analysis.
This role plays a critical part contributing to audit engagements
in shaping audit scope areas by participating in planning with
audit partners, strategically suggesting how data can streamline
audit test execution / coverage, and generating innovative insights
and scalable data solutions, as well as overseeing team execution.
As part of CGA team, the Data Solutions Senior Manager is
responsible for: • Collaborating and driving with audit partners to
strategically plan audit engagements based on analyzing relevant
business systems, processes, data sources, policies, and risk /
controls • Developing and maintaining standard and non-standard
data products and reporting deliverables • Designing and
implementing scalable data solutions to support audit objectives •
Maintaining and executing a roadmap of enhancement and automation
initiatives to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness •
Managing team members in driving consistency across data
deliverables • Proactively identifying improvement areas that lead
to increased standardization and automation, strategically aligning
with audit senior leaders on ways to improve and streamline audit
testing. This role offers broad exposure to the Comcast Corporation
through the audit process and provides opportunities to influence
risk management strategies through data-driven insights. Job
Description What You Deliver Demonstrates solid project management
skills for data or automation related projects, including
developing project plans and budgets, scheduling deliverables
across CGA teams, executing per plan, and messaging status/issues
to management. Leads audit engagement objective discussions with
CGA leaders and provides strategic recommendations on data
analytics approaches to support audit goals and streamline the
audit. Extracts, manipulates, transforms, models, visualizes, and
analyzes accurate, relevant, timely, and cohesive data to support
the audit lifecycle. Identifies audit scope areas that can be
automated or repeated through data analytics and leads the project
efforts to schedule and implement, aligning key stakeholders on the
change impacts. Ensures all data is secure and follows company
policies regarding data classification. Analyzes data to assess
compliance with established policies/procedures, best practices, US
GAAP, and legal/governmental requirements. Applies analytical
models (e.g., regression, simulation, statistical) to audit scope
areas to identify outliers, trends, and projections. Uses data
concepts, tools, and programming techniques including SQL, dbt,
Snowflake, Tableau, AWS, MS SQL Server, Oracle BI, Teradata,
Databricks, Alteryx, Spark, Python, and R to perform ETL and data
analysis activities. Develops process flows, prototypes, and
requirements documentation to accelerate stakeholder understanding
and guide solution development. Creates, documents, and executes
support process steps and test procedures to ensure data
deliverables are accurate and sustainable. Leads discussions
regarding data solution roadmap for prioritizing improvements
throughout the lifecycle of creating and enhancing data solutions.
Prepares clear and well-organized analysis workpapers, documenting
root-cause (as applicable), work performed, findings, and
recommendations. Creates graphical reports and executive
presentations to effectively summarize analysis and findings.
Manages the activities of Data or Automation team members and keeps
the team on track to complete assignments. Offers management
oversight, training, review and guidance to the staff. Accountable
for and reviews team workpapers, presentations, and other
documentation to ensure they are clear, complete, and
well-organized. Consistently exercises independent judgment and
discretion in matters of significance. Assists with managing,
scheduling, monitoring, and maintaining automated processes in
production. Supports department objectives and performs other
duties and responsibilities, as assigned. How You Deliver
Demonstrates the ability to quickly grasp complex subject matter
and apply strong analytical skills and business knowledge to
assessing processes, risks, and controls. Stays current on data
analytics trends (e.g., new tools, statistical methods,
visualization techniques) and emerging technologies that impact
audit work (e.g., AI, Blockchain, RPA). Maintains a strong
executive presence and proactively develops / maintains
relationships with key business partners. Performs effectively as a
project leader across engagements. Shows flexibility and
accountability in prioritizing and completing tasks,
allocating/re-allocating work across engagement team members,
optimizing synergies as well as capacity, as well as stepping in to
support execution, as appropriate. Works with discretion applying
sound judgment regarding work details on assignments of a varied
and difficult nature while maintaining personal and broader team
accountability and ownership. Utilizes creative thinking,
individual initiative, and flexibility in prioritizing and
completing tasks. Exhibits willingness to tackle new areas and
challenging topics. Demonstrates the ability to work in a complex,
dynamic, and fast-paced environment. Manages team members in
understanding and executing data analytics and automation
activities. Provide ongoing feedback and follow-up to team members
on work completion and performance, as well as ensuring timely
delivery of data deliverables for audit engagements. Manages team
members in ensuring data deliverables supporting audit engagements
are designed with shared logic and developed consistent, accurate,
and scalable. Assists in fostering a team-oriented environment and
helps with the development of a diverse and highly motivated
professional staff with a passion for excellence by providing
meaningful and challenging assignments. Provides coaching,
guidance, and development on interactions with business management
and stakeholders. Motivates engagement team to deliver high quality
work on time. Identifies opportunities for improvement to team
activities, tools, and training. Transparently keeps CGA management
informed of findings / status / important issues as they arise.
Acts in accordance with stated CGA and company policies and
practices, and maintains the highest degree of integrity in all
activities and interactions. Displays regular, consistent, and
punctual attendance. Able to work nights and weekends, variable
schedule(s), as necessary. Out-of-town travel may be required at up
to approximately 20%. How You Partner Collaborates with members of
CGA engagement teams to understand audit activities and identify
ways that data analytics and/or automation can enhance overall work
product, productivity, or audit coverage. Partners strategically
with members of audit senior leadership across engagement
activities, understanding their perspectives, and proposing /
discussing solutions that manage risk and optimize team resources.

Demonstrates a willingness to assist and develop other team members
in areas outside of direct assignments, when necessary.
Collaborates in a virtual environment to complete projects with
team members in various locations. Supervises engagement staff
member’s interactions with business management and helps team
members to resolve issues. Engages and builds collaborative
relationships with key business partners, other risk functions, and
system owners in engagement activities (e.g., Legal, Human
Resources, Security, TPX, EBI, etc.), as needed. Coaches audit team
members on data analytics, automation techniques, and business
knowledge. Assists engagement team in developing their
understanding of relevant business risks and trains team on how to
consider when planning and executing engagements. How You Develop
Utilizes available resources and tools to research and expand
knowledge to enhance work product. Exhibits a commitment to
continuously self-improve by working with leadership to leverage
strengths and focus on areas of development. Gains knowledge of IT
controls and cyber security concepts and actively applies to
engagements. Manages and mentors engagement team members to develop
audit, data, and business knowledge. Manages and provides coaching,
guidance and development to engagement teams and direct reports .
