The Aramids and T&T team is looking for a Global Communications leader for their collective Safety business. The successful candidate will be a strong people leader with demonstrated ability to lead a large global team (15+ global team members). Additionally, they will have the ability to help our team develop strong results driven, multi-platform communications strategies to elevate our product offerings and brands in the global markets and segments we serve. Experience in leading and managing a global brand(s) with an understanding and appreciation for brand protection and b2b trademark licensing is a must. This leader will be an integral part of the Aramids and T&T leadership teams as well as a strategic thought partner to the VPGMs and their GBDs and should have demonstrated experience in this area.The Global Safety MarCom Leader will report to the W&P Brand and Communications leader.Responsibilities:

  • Manages a large global team of MarCom and digital professionals across our core business in the Safety portfolio: Tyvek and Typar, Nomex and Kevlar
  • Aligns resources and budgets to facilitate success with the ability to flex budgets and resources based on evolving needs of business.
  • Develops and owns business positioning and messaging externally.
  • Actively drives global growth through brand value capture while leveraging our brands to win the hearts and minds of our strategic target(s) for the Kevlar, Nomex, Typar and Tyvek brands
  • Recognized and used as an SME across all leadership for Aramids and T&T.
  • Collaborates with the market/MC segment leaders to guide the integrated MC programs that align and leverage resources to drive business growth objectives
  • Consults and directs business in the effective use of communications
  • Champions industry best practices in MC/brand competency and applies knowledge to develop creative solutions that meet business/marketing objectives
  • Develop a strategic partnership with the business (to better enable delivery of business objectives)
  • Enhance reputation and awareness of products and services/solutions in key markets
  • Deliver best-in-class communications approaches and comms organization
  • Modernize communications (Whats the right mix of traditional vs. digital)Experience and qualifications:
    • 15+ years of experience in Marketing/MC role with combination of planning/execution and strategic thinking
    • Cross-functional experience
    • Demonstrated ability to see big picture within and outside LOB and builds plans to help others understand
    • Understands and is expert in utilizing marketing tools/competencies
    • Experienced Communicator with excellent written and oral English
    • Successful demonstration of Integrated communications strategy and planning
    • Experienced in conflict resolution
    • Mentors and has strong network of colleagues and senior leaders
    • Proven record of leading and executing successful programs
    • Self-driven
    • Consistently develops solutions for known and unknown gaps/issues
    • Experienced Team builder / Resource optimization
    • Previous leadership role
    • Experienced in Influencing others/Leading by Influence
    • Multitasks many heavy programs simultaneously
    • Collaborates and leads within and outside LOB and other functions
    • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
    • Experience in the industry a significant plus
