News Journal / Delawareonline.com is seeking an investigative
reporter to add to our award-winning watchdog and enterprise
mission. We are looking for someone who relishes FOIA fights and
understands the power of great journalism by telling the stories of
real people and the issues that impact their lives. Our
ideal candidate is someone who will carry out our core public
service missions: To protect reader interests, uncover wrongdoing
and provide compelling context and analysis to our audience on
various platforms. Experience with databases and presenting
investigations in a digital-friendly way is expected. Strong
organizational skills and a competitive and collaborative spirit
are musts. You will love our newsroom's story and direction and you
will love your new colleagues. Everyone in our room is expected to
have a watchdog mindset, but this job is one of our top
investigative reporting positions.
