Job Description:
Be part of the opening team at Hershey Inn & Suites, the newest
addition to The Official Resorts Of Hersheypark®, opening Spring
2026. Located just minutes from the Park, Hershey Inn & Suites
features 130 rooms including 7 suites, complimentary continental
breakfast, an indoor pool, arcade, and fitness center. The
Maintenance Manager of Hershey Inn & Suites is responsible for the
upkeep and maintenance of the property, including guest rooms,
buildings, and grounds, to meet the appearance and working order
standards of the property. This role will provide leadership and
direct support to a team of maintenance staff. This position must
be willing to respond to emergencies and work with Construction
Services on special remodeling projects and capital expenditure
needs. This position requires the ability to troubleshoot and an
overall knowledge of general maintenance with skills in painting,
carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool maintenance, and tool

more! Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential
functions of this job): Lead a team of maintenance staff with the
functionality and safety of Hershey Inn & Suites facilities,
including directing activities concerned with the maintenance of
physical buildings and structures, public areas, guest rooms,
kitchens and restaurants, machinery, vehicles, exterior grounds,
systems, etc.* Perform daily walk-throughs, upkeep, and inspections
of all areas of Hershey Inn & Suites, including upkeep and
inspections for the pool. Complete preventative maintenance and
repairs, and prioritize work orders to ensure that the property
operates at maximum efficiency and capacity.* Interview, train,
schedule, and supervise the maintenance team. Supervise and
coordinate with the department leads to delegate and manage daily
work assignments to ensure efficient operation of the department.*
Prepare schedules and manage productivity to forecast and budget
guidelines. * Monitor and develop team member performance through
supervision, professional development, conducting evaluations, and
delivering recognition and reward.* Manage the operating budget,
planning, and executing capital projects and the long-range work
schedule for the property.* Responsible for completing daily
administrative tasks, including: Maintaining the company’s
procurement system for ordering supplies; Ensuring payroll is
completed in a timely and accurate manner; Approving purchase
orders and maintaining inventory to ensure a smooth operation while
also complying with budget parameters.* Adhere to all Federal and
State laws, codes, regulations, and emergency procedures to ensure
active compliance and safety awareness.* Solicit bids, enter
capital asset (CA) requests into the CA database, enter contracts
into the Cobblestone contract approval software, and use DocuSign
to get contracts approved by management and vendors.* Oversee the
construction and installation of equipment to minimize the impact
on all other Hershey Inn & Suites departments and activities.
Coordinate scheduling of work with other departments to ensure all
departments are kept informed of any disruptions to operations that
may occur.* Ensure compliance with Department and HE&R
operational policies and procedures as well as corporate Risk
Management standards (MSDS, HazCom, OSHA, etc.) relating to the
department. Maintaining retention records to HE&R standards. *
Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 5
years of related Construction/Maintenance, Hospitality/Tourism or
other experience Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
Post-Employment - Must obtain Responsible Alcohol Management
Program (RAMP) Certification. Completion of high school or GED Must
have a valid driver’s license. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting abilities with skills
in painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool
operations, and tool usage Experience managing a budget Strong
written and verbal communication skills Proven leadership skills,
ability to train, coach, and motivate employees Must have a
thorough knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment, such as
chillers, boilers, water softeners, and refrigeration equipment.
Must have thorough knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, as
well as maintenance of records of power, water, and fuel
consumption. Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory
requirements, company policies, and industry standards related to
maintenance activities and workplace safety. Skilled in the use of
Google Suite as well as Microsoft Office applications, including
Excel and Word Proficient in working with details on a daily basis
for prolonged periods of time Experienced leadership with a diverse
