Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic
opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) to provide crucial support within K-12 public schools in the
Ellicott City, MD area. This leave replacement contract runs
through June 12, 2026, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours
per week. Candidates must hold an active Maryland SLP license and
be available for in-person assignments. This position involves
serving multiple school locations within Howard County Public
Schools, with start dates and schedules varying by site:
Mid-February start at Dayton Oaks Elementary School (5 days/week)
April start at Ellicott Mills Middle School (5 days/week) April
start at Thomas Viaduct Middle School (4 days/week, paired
placement) and Jeffers Hill Elementary School (1 day/week) April
start at Laurel Woods Elementary School (5 days/week) May start at
Burleigh Manor Middle School (2 days/week, paired placement) and
Hammond Middle School (3 days/week, paired placement) Key
Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language
therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff to support
student communication needs Maintain accurate documentation and
caseload management in compliance with school policies and state
regulations Preferred Qualifications: Certification from the
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) Experience
working in school settings across K-12 levels Strong communication,
organizational, and teamwork skills This contract offers an
excellent chance for experienced SLPs to impact student success
positively. Candidates with prior positive experiences in this role
may be considered for continued employment in the following school
