Science Teacher Secondaary Level: Grades 9-12 JOB GOAL : To provide
an approved educational program and establish a class environment
that fosters learning and personal growth; to help students develop
skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation
for continued education; and to maintain good relationships with
parents and other staff members. QUALIFICATIONS : Valid New Jersey
Instructional Certificate for Earth Science (K-12) or ability to
obtain certification through the Limited Instructional
Certification Program. Holder of Certificates of Eligibility must
complete the 50-hour pre-professional experience as required by the
NJ Department of Education. Demonstrated knowledge of subject
specialty and effective teaching methods. Ability to maintain a
positive learning environment. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Effectively communicates and understands job
instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S.
citizenship or legal resident alien status. Atlantic City Public
