now, together. Job DescriptionThe Data Scientist/Engineer will be a
member of the Digital Innovation Team that will accelerate
innovation for DuPont Businesses and Functions through data design
and integration for delivery of world-class solutions using
technologies and techniques such as Machine Learning, production
data pipeline, Azure Cloud, IoT, forecasting, and visualization.
This role will report directly to the Digital Data
Science/Engineering Lead. - The successful candidate will have the
opportunity to join the DuPont Field Engineering & Supply Chain
Development Program, description below.Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and implement data architectures for
digital products
- Build descriptive, predictive and prescriptive models using Big
Data, statistics, machine learning across various themes
- Implement data pipelines, sourcing, and quality control for all
digital products
- Ensure security and leveragability of data used for digital
products across company
- Create landscape architectures and road maps
- Introduce new technologies / tools in the area of data science
and data engineering to improve efficiency and advance digital
transformation throughout all Businesses / Functions
- Collaborate and foster strong relationships with Business /
Function stakeholders to leverage existing data and drive digital
acceleration at scale
- Utilize agile to deliver innovative solutions alongside scrum

- Written and verbal communication skillsJob Qualifications
- Pursuing or hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical,
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited
college or university
- Pursuing or hold a Minor, Bachelor's or Master's in applied
mathematics, computer engineering, data science, computer science,
or equivalent degree from an ABET accredited college or
university
- GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0 scale)
- 1-2+ years of relevant work experience in a data science and
data engineering role
- Proficiency in at least 1 programming language (e.g. Python, R,
etc.)
- Certified in statistics analytics and machine learning
- Experience in relational and NoSQL databases and
technology
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud, PAAS, and ML Service
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Web
visualization packages)
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with agile
methodologies
- Strong communication experience with multi-disciplinary
teams

- A five-year company commitment to complete a minimum of two
assignments (usually 24-36 months per assignment)
