If the role interests you and you would like to be considered we encourage you to apply!The hourly rate for this position at Scotts/Hawthorne will generally fall between $22.70-30.75. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.What you'll do in this role:* Performs repair and maintenance on the rolling stock associated with the plant. Repairs done on the rolling stock include motor related, electrical, electronic, mechanical,hydraulic and pneumatic repairs. Rolling stock would include over the road tractors and trailers, fork lifts, truck carried fork lifts, loaders, dozers, pick up trucks, compost turners and other types of rolling stock at the plant. May also work on plant production equipment as required. Must be familiar with both gasoline and diesel powerplants.* Maintains records of jobs performed in order to develop a history of repairs so that preventative maintenance can be performed. Record keeping is done to meet or exceed DOT requirements for over the road equipment. Must be computer literate to maintain records, experience using Agility is a plus.* May perform or assist in the installation of machinery and equipment.
