PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior technicians. PRIMARY DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES &bull Install, maintain, and repair complex HVAC and refrigeration systems, including advanced air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment. &bull Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate issues with HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. &bull Perform comprehensive maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards. &bull Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements. &bull Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and knowledge. &bull Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently and effectively. &bull Maintain accurate records of work performed, including detailed service reports and inventory management. &bull Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide high-quality service. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS &bull Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair. &bull EPA certification for handling refrigerants. &bull Advanced knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components. &bull Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. &bull Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. &bull Ability to work independently and as part of a team. &bull Strong communication and customer service skills. &bull Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS &bull Technical school or apprenticeship program
