Job Description Job Description Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description We are seeking enthusiastic individuals for six general production/assembly openings across three shifts. As a General Production Worker, you will work in different cells, each with a specific production function, and will receive cross-training to learn various other functions. This role involves basic mechanical and electrical assembly on the production floor, requiring a high level of attention to detail. Responsibilities Perform basic mechanical/electrical assembly on the production floor. Work in various production cells such as Helicoil, Deburring, Heat Pipe Assembly, and Codman Line. Check helicoils for proper installation and depth using a small electric screwdriver. Conduct minor deburring using a small file-type deburring instrument. Assemble heat pipes by aligning metal tubes, crimping ends, and accurately filling with a pre-measured amount of powder. Assemble small surgical tips for brain surgery, using tweezers and small hand tools, ensuring product meets customer specifications. Document production numbers, work performed, schedule QC checks, and report issues encountered. Maintain good attendance and attention to detail, and follow operating procedures. Essential Skills Mechanical assembly experience. General labor and production experience. Proficiency in electronic assembly and inspection. Comfortable using a computer for documentation. Good mechanical ability and fine with repetitive work. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma. Ability to read a tape measure. Basic mechanical ability. Ability to read and document in work orders/traveler documents. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is clean and involves very repetitive tasks with small pieces. You will primarily work in a sitting position at a table. The company specializes in cooling and heat transfer devices for computers and electronic devices. The business is experiencing growth, having recently won a new client, resulting in the need to expand the team. This position is not physically demanding but requires close attention to detail, accuracy, and good attendance. You will be trained in multiple areas to enhance your skill set, and you'll enjoy paid breaks, including a 15-minute lunch and 10-minute breaks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.25/hr.
