Job Description Job Description The HVAC Residential Service
Technician will be responsible for both servicing and repairing
HVAC systems. At the time of hiring, Technicians are qualified to
perform the tasks of system cleaning, adjustment, and repair of
HVAC units. Technicians must have a driver’s license that is in
good standing, and they must be able to drive themselves to
customers’ residence to review and analyze a customers HVAC systems
well as make recommendations to find the optimal air quality system
to meet their HVAC needs. Also, Technicians will be responsible for
performing maintenance, warranty, and emergency repairs of the air
quality systems from installation to end-of-life.The HVAC Division
of Moyer Indoor Outdoor is hiring due to tremendous growth and are
looking for experienced HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIANS. We are looking

be a hero to our customers. Requirements of an MOYER HVAC
TECHNICIAN: At least 3 year residential HVAC Service or
Installation experience Valid Driver's License and satisfactory
driving record Must pass a criminal background check and any
on-going drug testing Understanding of advanced principles of air
conditioning, refrigeration, and heating Working knowledge of
boiler systems, oil, gas and propane systems Ability to work in
confined spaces A commitment to customer service, teamwork quality
and SAFETY Duties/Responsibilities all of which need to be
performed for extended periods and/or repeatedly throughout the
work date. Travel to customers’ residence in a timely manner and in
accordance with Moyer’s safety rules and expectations. Understand
and agree that, beyond technical ability, exercising patience,
professionalism and excellent customer service are required for the
position. Address and meet customer’s needs. Install, maintain and
repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Clean, adjust and repair systems, and perform warranty services.
Manage maintenance risk and mechanical faults on HVAC systems.
Participate in all Moyer-required technical training, safety
training and driver training. Enforce and comply with all required
equipment standards and act in accordance with Occupational Health
and Safety Act Meet or exceed service standards, work instructions,
and customer requirements. Maintain a detailed inventory of all
HVAC equipment and resources in Technician’s truck and in the
warehouse for Technician’s customer jobs. Supervisory
responsibility: Must be able and willing to coach, lead and mentor
newer technicians. High level troubleshooting capabilities Physical
Requirements: The physical demands described here are

equipment and tools as well as bend wrists and neck. Ability to

others while operating equipment and tools. Walk and traverse over
uneven terrain/surfaces at installation or repair sites. Lift,
manipulate and operate handheld equipment. Grasp levers, switches,
stick controls, dials and other forms of operational controls in
order to operate and shut down equipment. Ability to work with
various tools and machinery Ability to use hand tools such as
screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers frequently throughout the day. Must
be able to grasp small tools, fittings, screws and bolts and use
them for installation and repair. Ability to work in basements,
crawl spaces and attics and on outdoor units in all temperatures
with the understanding that Moyer has safety policies to maintain
health and well-being of Technicians. Must be proficient and
comfortable driving a large truck and entering and exiting the
truck at each service location as well as on the road in all
weather conditions and throughout the day. Ability to
drive/maneuver/operate equipment used in installations, including
the ability to see, grasp, and operate controls. Able to use a
smartphone and tablet and the Moyer computer systems, tape measure,
ruler or any other measuring device. Able to carry tools, equipment
and parts of varying weights. Able to comfortably maneuver and
climb a ladder up to 20 feet high without assistance. Able to carry
such ladder use at a customer residence or site. Ability to work
onsite daily and for the entire time scheduled plus overtime as may
be needed. Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds without assistance
