Job DescriptionAGC Chemicals Americas, Inc., (AGCCA), is a wholly owned subsidiary of AGC. Our company was formed in 2004 through the merging of sister companies Asahi Glass Fluoropolymers USA and AGA Chemicals. We are headquartered in Exton, PA with a state-of-the-art technology center. AGCCA has its manufacturing operation in nearby Thorndale, PA with satellite sales office in Sao Paulo, Brazil and warehouses and distributors located throughout North America.AGCCA provides you with the opportunity to work with great people. The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for payroll functions including processing, data management, and reporting. This position is also responsible for reports generated from HRIS, financial information reporting as requested, attendance tracking and attendance policy management. In addition, this position provides administrative support and office management support.Essential Functions:

  • Processes weekly payroll for union employees and semi-monthly payroll for salaried employees, using the current Payroll processing and Time and Attendance system
  • Delivers reports as requested by finance, human resources, plant supervision, etc.
  • Serves as back up to HR Business Partner for benefit administration and billing, employee communications, and other support as needed
  • Provides administrative assistance including accepting/signing for package deliveries, helping visitors connect with their appointments, etc.
  • Manages needs of facility including supplies, meeting scheduling, and organizing occasional events
  • Maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documentation for all payroll and attendance functions
  • Other duties as assignedJob Requirements:
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Experience with ADP Payroll systems, including all current platforms
    • Experience with a manufacturing environment
    • Solid organizational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Occasional travel between offices (less than 10 miles apart)
