About the Company: Our client is a quickly growing start-up company. They are looking for a stellar Director of Performance Marketing to lead their performance marketing initiatives from PPC, SEO, and social media channels.

Job Summary

The Director of Performance Marketing will report directly to the company's CEO. This position will also manage the current outsourced marketing agency - holding them accountable to desired performance metrics, and provide constant insight into marketing and customer funnel performance behavior to drive ideal CAC.

Job Responsibilities

Drive customer funnel and acquisition performance by acquiring paid traffic in the most cost-effective way. Closely collaborate with sales/product/marketing agency teams to make sure that the paid search, social media, and SEO programs continuously improves ROI. Lead content creation and testing (visual and ad copy). Lead development and execution of marketing strategies for Paid Search, SEO, and social media campaigns, including strategic roadmaps, test plans, risk/benefit analyses. Perform campaign activities for Paid Search (PPC) and social media campaigns including bid management, budget allocation, forecasting, performance monitoring, strategic testing, and campaign expansion. Monitor and report on daily SEM portfolio performance; develop excel and/or SQL-based reporting to measure performance and test results from impressions, actions, cost, and present findings, and identify new opportunities Manage spend and continually optimize campaigns to successfully meet ROI and run-rate goals. Manage agency from day-to-day to quarterly/annually strategic touchpoints. Develop and implement new strategies for portfolio optimization and volume growth. Improve performance through testing and analysis. Investigate and understand the impact from systemic and seasonal factors on lead volume and quality. Stay current with Google, Bing, Facebook, and overall digital marketing best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. Masters in Marketing highly preferred. Deep experience in managing Google Ads, Bing Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook, and other social media channels. Experience outside of SEM is plus: Google Ads Display, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Amazon DSP. Highly proficient in marketing performance software and tools (ex. Google Ads, Analytics, SEM Rush, Power BI, Adobe Ecosystem Target, AEM, Tableau, Kenshoo, Marin, Hitwise, etc.) Experience with SQL and visualization tools are a plus. Ability to own and manage many overlapping responsibilities. Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
