Company : Black & Veatch Corporation Req Id : 82483 Opportunity Type : Staff Relocation eligible : No Full time/Part time : Full-Time Project Only Hire : No Visa Sponsorship Available: No Job Summary The TURF Market Manager position at Black & Veatch would be responsible for all aspects of small to medium Engineering Procurement Construction or Design Build (EPC)/Service projects, including risk to cost, schedule, quality for new site builds in the assigned markets. They oversee the successful execution of contracted engineering, procurement, and construction scope in the areas of performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction. Provides for the successful staffing of the project. This position manages and leads medium sized teams of multi-discipline professionals, as well as coordinates and integrates the activities associated with the engineering, site acquisition, procurement, construction, and startup elements of the project team, including the activities of all third-party companies contributing to the initiative.TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Professional must be willing to travel up to 10 - 15% of the time as needed./#LI-DS2 Key Responsibilities + Understand B&V functional organizations and interfaces.+ Develops and maintains the Project Execution Plan as required.+ Responsible for developing and maintaining the project staffing plan.+ Responsible for project financial forecasting.+ Responsible for preparing and presenting monthly project reviews to management.+ Assists with input to monthly/quarterly Reports.+ Develops and maintains the project Change Management Program.+ Actively involved in supporting safety initiatives and promoting a culture of safety. Scheduling: + Assists in preparation of summary schedule.+ Assists in schedule maintenance and resource loading.+ Prepares & maintains productivity reports. Management Responsibilities Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project. Preferred Qualifications + 5+ years of relevant experience+ Experience in the distributed energy field (Solar, Microgrids, and Battery Energy Storage Systems) Minimum Qualifications + Bachelor of science degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.+ All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
