Job Description:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Analytics Lead Audit Manager as
part of our Consumer & Small Business Banking Audit team. The
Consumer & Small Business Banking Audit Team provides coverage for
Branch Banking, Chief Customer Office, CSBB Control, CSBB Diverse
Customer Segments, CSBB Operations, CSBB Strategy & Transformation,
Consumer Marketing, Deposit Products Group, and Small Business.
In this role, you will:
Design and lead projects, analyses, and application of data
analysis techniques
Facilitate the identification of opportunities to utilize data
analysis in the assessment of risk and controls
Develop data-driven analytics capabilities to identify anomalies,
outliers, emerging trends and operational risks
Navigate within large, complex technology environments to locate,
validate, extract, and format data for data analysis testing
Effectively document the analysis in accordance with audit
policy
Train and mentor audit teams in the use of data analysis and data
analysis tools
Partner with assigned audit teams to build expertise in the use of
data analysis within the internal audit function
Participate in audits in accordance with Wells Fargo Internal Audit
policy
Be a critical thinker with an innovative mindset, coupled with a
track record for creating solutions that are efficient, effective,
and essential
Lead execution of the integrated audit process
Participate in audits in accordance with Wells Fargo Audit Services
policy
Demonstrate depth and breadth of knowledge and understanding across
multiple businesses or develops knowledge in a critical subject
matter area
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the
financial, operational, technical, and regulatory environment
across multiple businesses or develop excellent subject matter
knowledge in critical areas of the business
Write opinions reflecting relevant facts that lead to logical
conclusions
Escalate significant risks and loss exposures to appropriate levels
of management
Ensure documentation and reporting are ready for review by managers
and more experienced managers
Demonstrate credible challenge
Evaluate and provide appropriate solutions for complex problems
Lead multiple concurrent projects that are generally moderate to
large in size and moderate to high in complexity
Identify and assess key risks and controls and develop effective
test plans for engagements as assigned with limited guidance
Present audit results in an objective and unbiased manner
Exhibit appropriate judgment regarding issue notification, issue
draft findings to client management, and draft final audit
reports
Develop and maintain excellent business relationships within
Internal Audit and with teams companywide
Required Qualifications, US:
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated
through one or a combination of the following: work experience,
training, military experience, education
2+ years of SQL or SAS programming experience including automation
solutions of medium to high technical complexity
Extensive knowledge of Tableau/Power BI or other Data Analytics
tools that can be utilized to perform continuous activities
Experience developing operational reporting and performing complex
data analysis
Experience in data processing, database programming, and/or data
analytics
Knowledge of systems of record and data warehouses
Experience at a financial institution or accounting firm
Solid knowledge and understanding of audit or risk methodologies
and supporting tools
Strong understanding of financial regulatory environment
A BS/BA degree or higher
Certifications in analytics:
Certified Analytics Professional
SAS Certified Big Data Professional
SAS Certified Data Scientist
Certification of Professional Achievement in Data Sciences
Data Mining and Applications Graduate Certificate (university
specific)
Certification in one or more of the following: CPA, CAMS, CRCM,
CIA, CISA or Commissioned Bank Examiner designation
Pay Range
$111,100.00 - $197,500.00 Annual
