Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing
Federal Program Manager - Principal
Cadmus has a rich history of providing technical assistance to
communities that enables them to improve the environment and
increase the well-being of their residents. This technical
assistance spans a wide variety of areas, including clean drinking
water, transportation infrastructure, clean energy technology
deployment, and community resilience to threats and hazards. Due to
the unprecedented levels of funding from the federal government to
provide these types of technical assistance directly to
communities, Cadmus is seeking a program manager with experience
leading federal contracts of greater than $20M.
This position can be 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating administrative, financial and technical support for a
large federal contract with multiple workstreams.
Ensuring smooth project operations including those related to
project budget, staffing, work schedule, subcontractors, and
deliverables.
Administering contracts with independent consultants and
subcontractors.
Monitoring project finances, including current and forecasted, and
developing budget modifications, as needed.
Ensuring high quality project deliverables through results-based
approach involving continual project monitoring and evaluation.
Tracking overall work-plan progress and leading regular
coordination with team members to ensure work-plan execution.
Serving as touchstone with client, ensuring team is operating well
and necessary technical resources are employed, while simultaneous
making sure corporate objectives are in the forefront - resulting
in strong project evaluations.
Tracking projects to ensure compliance with contract
requirements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., public policy, energy,
environmental and/or climate sciences, urban and environmental
planning) and 15+ years of related work experience or a Master's
degree with 12+ years of experience - with at least 10 years of
contract management experience.
PMP certification.
Experience in managing large federal contracts greater than
$20M.
Experience in project operations, including development and
implementation of project budgets, revenue projections, and related
financial documents; administration of subcontractors and
independent consultants; preparation of key project deliverables,
including leading quality control assurance; and review of client
invoices and other required financial reports.
Demonstrated technical knowledge in a relevant area, such as
transportation, energy efficiency, clean energy, urban planning, or
climate change adaptation and resiliency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S.
Permanent Resident or U.S. Citizen.

Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent
benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid

The estimated starting salary for this position is $143,000. The
actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several
factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and
market competitiveness.
