Integrations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating,
monitoring, and supervising the activities related to the design,
development, and implementation of organizational information
systems and software applications. The Enterprise Development and
Integrations Manager is also responsible for setting strategy and
standards, as well as developing teams, conducting research and
analysis, setting department objectives, establishing budgets and
guidelines, liaising with internal and external partners, and
planning for new applications, integrations, and enhancements. This
individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving
skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide their development
team on issues related to the design, development, and deployment
of mission-critical information and software systems. -Job
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Effectively manages up to 10 direct reports (i.e., hires,
trains, mentors, identifies development opportunities, appraises,
motivates, disciplines, and recommends promotions, performance
improvement plans, and terminations as necessary).
- Develops strategy for long-term and short-term enterprise
development and integration efforts
- Maintains effective working relationships with colleagues in
Technology and Business organizations.
- Oversees development team projects and resources assigned to
frontend, integration, and backend development team and the
supporting project management and business analysts
- Leads the development lifecycle of the organization's software
systems, including gathering requirements, database management,
software development, testing, implementation, stakeholder
follow-up, support, and project efforts
- Ensures the integrity and changes to the application
development servers and databases. Oversees development and
implementation of change control processes for the development team
to follow.
- Provides ad-hoc reporting and decision support required for
management decision processes, strong resources, and capacity
planning experiences.
- Responsible for technology decisions that impact software
development. -
- Manages developing and deploying new applications, systems
software, and enhancements to existing applications throughout the
enterprise.
- Oversees that development projects meet business requirements
and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve
systems issues.
- Manages the pre-testing phase of development by evaluating
proposals to identify potential problem areas and making the
appropriate recommendations, including identifying and resolving
program errors.
- Oversees the collaboration of analysts, designers, and system
owners in testing new software programs and applications.
- Provides leadership and decision-making for the application
development team to support business operations.
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned. -Minimum
Qualifications: -
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or
other related discipline or the equivalent combination of
education, training, or work experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible
management/leadership experience in a software development
field.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience working through the
requirement, design, development, QA & UAT testing, implementing,
and delivering in release cycles and to business lines.
- Proven experience in providing direction, development, and
implementation of software solutions. -
- Direct, hands-on experience with code management, development,
and integration tools. -
- Functional knowledge of using and implementing automated
software and system management tools.
- Functional knowledge of system and software quality assurance
best practices and methodologies.
- Knowledge of core software applications and integration
platforms, including Bank and Wealth Accounting, Oracle JDE/Fusion,
Mulesoft, marketing tools, Microsoft technologies, and application
development tools. -
- Knowledge of programming languages and methodologies, including
JavaScript and declarative.
- Knowledge of database design and file management
techniques.
- Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems,
protocols, and standards. -
- Strong project management skills and/or substantial exposure to
project-based work structures. -
- Knowledge and experience with Banking and/or Wealth business is
preferred
- Track record of implementing complex as well as simple IT
solutions
- Working knowledge and experience of Demand Management
- Demonstrates the ability to create and build a "value-added"
and effective relationship with the businesses that IT
services.
- An understanding of business case analysis and the use of ROI
in funding projects.
- Experience with many of the top Banking and Wealth software
vendors and the actual implementation of their products is
