We are currently hiring a Medical Office Assistant Summary: One of our clients at Blue Cross Blue Shield is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to support the retrieval, scanning, and forwarding of medical records. The hired resource will be responsible for going to provider offices to retrieve medical records, scan medical records in Canton office to be uploaded to the EMR, and at times call provider offices who might have failed faxes. Required Skills: 3 years of experience in medical records scanning, or working as a medical office assistant Experience navigating an EMR Experience in inbound or outbound calls Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Location : Hybrid, 1-2 total days onsite per week in Canton, MD If you are interested in exploring this career opportunity with GeBBS Consulting, please reply with your current resume and the best time to contact you.
