Responsibilities:* Consults with the executives and extended HR Team to drive business success by providing thought leadership and direction, delivering a HR strategy that is aligned with the needs of the organization* Will work on an equal footing with senior management directly advising and supporting these leaders as they make strategic people decisions.* Provide executive coaching and advice on key areas such as leadership, teamwork, org design, strategy, etc.* Help leaders understand and address people implications of business decisions.* Develop a talent strategy, including how to effectively compete for and motivate talent to achieve business success, while providing decision support and resource alignment.* Create and support business outcomes with HR programs, initiatives and strategies leading to a market competitive advantage.* Provide innovative and creative solutions with a willingness to push and challenge for transformative work* Travel regularly (25-30% East Coast) Basic Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience* At least 7 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist* At least 5 years of experience in client facing/consulting* At least 3 years of experience in project management Preferred Qualifications:* Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, or Organizational Psychology* PHR, SPHR, Coaching certification* At least 10 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist* At least 10 years of experience in client facing/consulting* At least 3 years of experience supporting a nonexempt population across multiple site locations is strongly preferred At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
