Under the direction of the Value-Based Care (VBC) Executive Director and VBC Medical Director, the Business Change Manager is responsible to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals. The Manager will collaborate with departments within the VBSO and outside of the VBSO to execute on projects, programs and plans. This position will leverage operational and technical expertise, strategic planning frameworks, project management methodology and facilitation techniques to assist with the implementation of the department's strategic and operational goals. The Business Change Manager will serve as a consultant to leadership in project planning, process improvement, needs analysis, implementation, planning, communication and other aspects of project execution. This position must be a self-motivator, take initiative and have the ability to take an idea or initiative in it's infancy stage and bring to maturity. Identifies potential issues, project change, and scope data. Leads efforts to identify best practices. Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required. Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs. Designs methods for integrating functions and processes. Conducts cost/benefit analyses. Builds support for business change throughout the business unit. Provides process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support to both local and enterprise wide initiatives. Leads the project prioritization and scheduling activities for the business unit. Projects and initiatives may include focus on operational effectiveness and efficiency, safety outcomes, patient experience outcomes, quality outcomes, operations, financial performance, productivity and more. Partners with leaders in developing performance targets, reporting variances and creating remediation plans. Provides expertise to the business areas in culture/change management activities. Provides expertise in process planning and portfolio management activities. Supports the execution of the operating plan. Perform analysis on proposed or existing projects and/or strategic initiatives to help identify and monitor performance analytics, resource constraints, barriers, timelines, deliverables or overlap with other efforts. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams in the articulation of priority projects and initiatives to analyze the purpose, goals, expectations and measures for success. Develops materials for VBSO Leadership to include, but not limited to, presentations, grant materials, project updates, project and business plans, pro formas and more. Qualifications: More than five years' experience in strategic planning, project and change management and business operations. Combination of experience in such areas is preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. Master's degree preferred, Bachelor's required.
