Together, we are on a quest to change banking for good.Sr. Manager - Credit Review - Business Transformation & ChangeThe Credit Review organization at Capital One monitors credit quality and assures credit business practices adhere to Credit Policy, Standards and Procedures for internal and external stakeholders.Credit Review is currently hiring a Business Transformation & Change Senior Manager who will be responsible for managing horizontal change within a team that is experiencing significant growth, in support of a recently expanded mandate. This will be a critical role where design thinking, strategic capabilities, attention to detail, creativity, influencing skills and execution of change management will be rewarded. - -In this role, you will be expected to identify, prioritize and lead a portfolio of opportunities that will drive optimization of work, processes and programs at the top of the house, for the Head of Credit Review. -You will develop change management strategies and frameworks, and drive efficiencies - a goal for all members of the Senior Leadership Team - with a view to optimization across teams, and as one team. You will collaborate with smart and driven leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company's commitment to outstanding risk management. -You will play a critical role by leading important efforts from day one, working alongside key leadership and stakeholders, leading task forces and with the potential of leading people in the medium to longer term, while reporting to the Chief of Staff.
Responsibilities

  • Develop the Credit Review business transformation portfolio of opportunities, prioritized by level of impact, ease of implementation, level of urgency and innovation
  • Develop change management strategies, conduct impact analysis, assess change readiness, and identify potential key stakeholders impacted
  • Lead horizontal After Action Reviews and change management assessments, ultimately leading to recommendations for, and execution of, new and more effective and streamlined processes
  • Be a key driver of two of Credit Review's top strategic priorities - show efficiencies and drive innovation
  • Evaluate and ensure readiness for change through the definition and measurement of success metrics and monitoring programs

    • Organized, with a natural inclination for planning strategy as well as drive tactics
    • Problem solve with root cause identification skills
    • Demonstrates effective navigation of all levels in an organization, and the ability and desire to support and engage senior leaders
    • Has a growth mindset and is collaborative in nature
    • Ability to lead task forces and/or re-engineering contractors as needed
      Basic Qualifications
      • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
      • At least 4 years of experience in Project, Process or Risk Management
      • At least 3 years of experience in change management
      • At least 3 years of experience working with internal business customers
      • At least 2 years of People or Contractor Management experience
        Preferred Qualifications
        • Master's Degree (e.g. MBA)
        • At least 5 years working with internal business customers in a capacity of driving change
        • At least 5 years in a Consultancy or a Reengineering role
        • At least 3 years in a Risk Management role
        • At least 2 years of People Management experience
        • MP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
