Job DescriptionSalary: Position Summary: ChesPenn is seeking a
skilled, patient-focused Medical Assistant to assist our physicians
and nurses in providing routine, preventive and diagnostic patient
care and medical management to children, adolescents and adults in
a busy primary care setting. We offer a competitive salary and
benefits package and very limited evening and weekend hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent patient service skills
- Good computer skills.
- Able to file alphabetically and numerically.
- Ability to meet approved minimal physical and medical
standards.Key Responsibilities• Prepare patients for the providers
by obtaining and documenting medical history, vital signs, growth
parameters, and reason for patient visit. • Assist with
examinations and treatments • Administer injections. • Performance
of visual and auditory examinations. • Performs diagnostic
laboratory procedures. • Performs venipuncture and laboratory
tests. • Maintains documentation related to patient care. • Models
ChesPenn's commitment to an outstanding patient experience at all
