As a Level III trauma center with a robust Robotic Surgery program as well as a Cancer Center of Excellence we provide comprehensive surgical care to the community. WDH invites you to become part of the team of passionate surgeons and providers focused on delivering excellent patient care. Our team strives to be the premiere leader in Acute Care, Trauma & General Surgery delivering the most innovative and compassionate surgical care.The Surgeon will join a team of six experienced general surgeons with specialties in Bariatrics, ICU, Trauma and General surgery and will be responsible for providing acute care, trauma, and general surgery that is delivered in a systematic and holistic way.The Surgeon will be paired with an Advance Practitioner who will follow along with the surgeon's schedule as well as provide additional peri-operative and follow up assistance. The goal of the Acute Care/Trauma Surgeryprogram is to provide 24/7 coverage. This approach to care, will provide improved access to care, continuity of care as well as follow up care for patient. It also allows for an improved call schedule for the surgeon.
