Brandywine Pediatrics , a well established, independent private practice serving the Brandywine Valley from our single office in North Wilmington, DE is seeking to fill a full time partner-track Pediatrician position. We are a busy primary care group practice with eight pediatricians , three nurse practitioners, a lactation consultant and an embedded child psychologist with an excellent reputation and a wonderful patient population. We have a practice model that allows us a great deal of autonomy with our schedules but also offers the camaraderie and support that a larger practice can provide. Our practice has endured for over thirty years and boasts very little turnover in staff. Pediatricians tend to spend their entire careers here and our current position opening is only due to the retirement of one of our partners. In addition to typical Monday-Friday hours, this position entails weekend "sick visit" coverage every 6 weeks, night time call coverage approximately every 6th night (buffered by nursing triage after 11pm) and well baby nursery coverage at Christiana Hospital every 6 weeks.
