Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Speech and Language Therapist (SLP) in Chester County, PA!We are accepting applications on an on-going basis for school-based Speech and Language Therapists (SLP) to provide a full range of school-based speech therapy services.SLPs needed throughout School-Age Special Education programs for full-time and part-time hours with flexible schedule consideredThe Speech and Language Therapist is an independent contractor position at $93.00 per hourSUMMARY:Speech Language Pathologists are needed throughout Chester County in school-based positions. The Speech Language Pathologist provides a full range of school-based speech therapy services to individuals up to the age of 21. The Speech Language Pathologist functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to determine a student's eligibility for school-based speech and language therapy services as well as appropriate programming recommendations. The SLP works directly with students, faculty, parents, and administration. The Speech Language Pathologist delivers services and implements all procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and school policies and procedures and utilizes practices that are evidence based.RequirementsEDUCATION:Valid PDE certification as a Speech & Language TherapistMaster's degree in Communicative DisordersCertificate of Clinical Competence - preferredClinical Fellowship year consideredCREDENTIALS:(Clearances current within 12 months)PA Child Abuse (Act 151) ClearancePA Criminal (Act 34) ClearancePA Department of Education FBI - Use code 1KG6XNTB Screening - current within 3 monthsEducation Documentation - diploma OR official transcripts from graduate programProfessional Liability InsurancePDE Certification as a Speech & Language TherapistBenefitsThe school-based Speech Therapist / SLP position is an independent contract (1099) position.
