Job DescriptionWe are currently hiring for a RN to work 36 hours per week to support the Day/Midnight shifts working with the Radiology Nursing group in the IR/MRI area. While you will mainly be at the Wilmington Hospital, there is rotation to the Christiana Hospital. Weekends, holidays and On Call required as per department guidelines. (possible shift lengths – 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts)The scope of services on the Radiology Care Unit (RCU) encompasses a variety of diagnoses/ testing including, but not limited to, paracentesis, CT guided biopsies, Fluoro guided LP/myelograms, US guided biopsies, CT guided drain placement including monitoring and recovery of general anesthesia and moderate sedation.ChristianaCare Offers:

  • BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • At least two years of experience in acute care (prefer Critical Care, Stepdown, ED or PACU areas)
  • PALS preferred – must get within 6 months
  • IV Certified preferred
  • Moderate sedation experience preferred
