ChristianaCare is currently recruiting for a Casual Registered Respiratory Therapist ll, with a day and night rotation, to provide service to all areas of the hospital, including adult and infant critical care units, medical-surgical floors and emergency care. This position will provide services to the Respiratory Care Department in the ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital location only.

Schedule:

• 36 HOURS/SCHEDULE PERIOD (4 WEEKS)
  • 12 HOURS (OUT OF 36 HOURS) MUST BE WEEKEND (FRI 1830-MON 0700)
  • 12 HOURS HOLIDAY/YEAR (COUNTS TOWARDS MIN HOURS)
  • ROTATING (DAYS & NIGHTS - NOT SHIFT SPECIFIC)
  • COMMITTED HOURS (36 MIN.) MUST BE SCHEDULED IN 12 HOUR BLOCKS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Graduate of CoArc approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
    • Licensure in the State of Delaware required..
    • Greater than 6 months experience preferred.
      
      SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
      
      --- Maintains Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
      
      --- Maintain Current BLS Certification
      
      --- Current AARC Member preferred
      
      --- Licensure in the State of Delaware required
      
      --- Intubator Certification Required (Certification must be obtained within 3-6 months from date of hire.)
