Join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals and make a positive impact on patients' lives!Position Overview:The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating residents with communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a multidisciplinary setting.Key Responsibilities:
    • Assessment & Evaluation:
      • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' communication, language, and swallowing abilities.
      • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
      • Treatment & Therapy:
        • Provide evidence-based therapy services to improve or restore communication and swallowing functions.
        • Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
        • Collaboration & Communication:
          • Work closely with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, occupational therapists, and physicians to ensure holistic patient care.
          • Educate staff, patients, and families on strategies to support communication and swallowing rehabilitation.
          • Compliance & Documentation:
            • Maintain accurate records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
            • Ensure adherence to state and federal guidelines for patient care.Qualifications:
              • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
              • Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
              • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
              • Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or related healthcare setting is highly desirable.
