WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Reading, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: OR - Operating Room ~ Discipline: RN ~ Duration: 13 weeks ~40 hours per week ~ Shift: 8 hours, days ~ Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a reputable Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Reading, PA. This role offers a valuable opportunity to deliver high-quality surgical care in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. Job Function: ~ Day Shift. ~6:45AM - 2:45PM. ~ Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in the facility EMR in a timely manner. ~ Prepares the operating room for the patient/procedure and assists other staff with room breakdown. ~ Assists in patient positioning and ensures patient comfort and safety. ~ Provides accurate care and proper handling of specimens. Job Requirements: ~1 year of experience in a hospital OR or surgical center required. ~ Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). ~ Current RN license for the state or willingness to obtain. ~ BLS certification from the American Heart Association. ~ ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
