Travel \n Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking an
experienced Emergency Department RN for a 65-bed adult ED on night
shifts with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. \n \n
Responsibilities\n Position based in a 65-bed, pod-based Emergency
Department with separate pediatric and acute mental health areas
Patient population includes all ages and case types Average daily
census is 230 visits Clinician-to-patient ratio is 1:4 General ED
clinical skills including assessment, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac
monitoring, splinting, and point of care testing required Uses Epic
ASAP EMR system Night shift, 19:00-07:30, every other weekend
required Floating to other units is required as needed Low
frequency of rotating shifts; night position does not rotate
Performs all general ED RN responsibilities including critical
thinking, patient education, and clinical interventions Works
within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-volume
emergency setting Parking at some sites may incur daily costs and
public transportation is encouraged RTO (requested time off) must
be specified at time of consideration Holiday coverage may be
required based on scheduling No religious or medical exemptions
allowed for required vaccinations \n \n Requirements\n Active,
non-conditional MA RN license required at time of consideration; MA
conditional licenses not accepted Minimum 2 years of recent
Emergency Nursing experience required Certifications required: BLS,
ACLS, PALS (AHA only accepted) TNCC strongly preferred Epic EMR
experience preferred Proof of completed COVID-19 and Flu
vaccination required; no exemptions allowed Must provide two
professional references Primary source verification of RN license
required prior to start Local candidates must have permanent
residence at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital to
