Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Therapy Team Leader to join our multidisciplinary team of professionals in providing exceptional inpatient rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will lead the therapy department, ensuring the highest standards of rehabilitation are delivered to our patients. With facility-based and home-based settings, you will oversee therapy programs tailored to individual patient needs, promoting optimal recovery and outcomes. Develop, implement, and assess therapy programs to meet the needs of each patient Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of therapists and support staff Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulatory standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including medical, nursing, and support staff to enhance patient care Manage departmental budget and resources efficiently Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and staff development programs Maintain patient and staff confidentiality Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency with healthcare IT systems Deep understanding of patient care and rehabilitation therapy practices Capability in handling multiple tasks and pressures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist CPR and BLS certification Relevant leadership or management certification preferred
