Job Description:

Tender Touch Rehab Services, a leader in tailored rehabilitation therapies, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting physical therapists in providing treatments that help improve patients' mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. Our focus is on offering compassionate, individualized care that aligns with the specific recovery needs of each patient we serve. Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent disabilities. Prepare equipment and treatment areas for patient use. Guide patients through exercises and therapies as prescribed by the physical therapist. Record patient responses and progress, reporting any relevant observations to the supervising therapist. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe and therapeutic space for treatment. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and in-home exercises to aid recovery and promote health. Adhere to all healthcare regulations, standards, and procedures to ensure safety and compliance. Proficiency in physical therapy modalities and exercises Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and transferring patients Knowledge of healthcare regulations and a commitment to ethical practice Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the practicing state CPR certification
