Job Description:

Job Description Job Description Embark on a transformative journey as an Occupational Therapist in Bowie, Maryland, where your clinical expertise and compassionate approach empower individuals to rediscover independence, regain function, and reclaim confidence in daily life. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to shape outcomes, light up possibilities, and be part of a supportive network that values your skill, your curiosity, and your unique perspective. As you step into this role, envision the impact you can make every day, guiding patients through meaningful rehabilitation journeys and celebrating each milestone together. And when you’re ready to broaden your horizons, you’ll have the opportunity to experience Maryland’s rich landscapes—from the sparkling shores of the Chesapeake Bay to the historic streets of Annapolis—while also exploring diverse settings across the U.S. on travel assignments. Maryland’s beauty unfolds in many ways: the tranquil trails along the Patapsco Valley, the vibrant waterfronts of Baltimore, and the scenic drives that lead you to picturesque small towns and dynamic urban centers alike. Location benefits come into sharp focus in Bowie, a thriving hub that provides convenient access to the nation’s capital region, top-tier medical facilities, and a wide range of cultural and recreational experiences. You’ll enjoy a balanced lifestyle that blends professional growth with delightful escapes to Maryland’s coastal towns, rolling hills, and lush parks. In addition to the immediate Bowie environment, this role opens doors to assignments across the United States, offering exposure to diverse patient populations, settings, and care models. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with groundbreaking teams in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, and community-based programs, gaining seasoning and insight that enrich your OT practice. Expect a supportive travel framework designed to maximize your safety, comfort, and success, including streamlined onboarding, reliable housing options, and a constructive roadmap for extension or transition into longer-term opportunities. In this role, you’ll assume responsibilities central to high-quality occupational therapy care. Core duties include comprehensive assessments to identify activity limitations and participation restrictions, development of individualized intervention plans, and implementation of evidence-based, client-centered treatment strategies focused on ADLs, mobility, cognitive and perceptual skills, sensory integration, splinting and positioning, and environmental modifications. You’ll coordinate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, and caregivers to ensure cohesive care across the continuum. Documentation will reflect progress toward goals, discharge planning, and ongoing communication with families and care teams. You’ll monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, educate patients and families about home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and community resources, and participate in program development to advance OT services. This role emphasizes professional growth within the specialty—embracing emerging techniques in neurorehabilitation, pediatrics, or geriatric care, and pursuing continuing education opportunities to stay at the forefront of best practices. You’ll also contribute to program evaluations, quality improvement initiatives, and peer mentoring, strengthening the OT community within the organization. Competitive benefits accompany your clinical responsibilities. You’ll receive a weekly pay range of $1,879 to $1,908, with guaranteed 35 hours per week to provide financial predictability and steady patient contact. Explore a bonus structure that recognizes your dedication and outcomes, along with housing assistance designed to ease relocation or temporary housing, so you can focus on patient care and your own well-being. There are plentiful extension opportunities, giving you the chance to deepen your impact and build lasting relationships with colleagues and patients alike. The organization offers comprehensive support for traveling clinicians, including 24/7 assistance from a dedicated team, timely credentialing help, and access to resources that simplify your experience while you’re on assignment. From onboarding through arrival and daily operations, you’ll feel backed by a network that values your safety, flexibility, and professional voice. Company values center on empowering staff to reach their fullest potential within a nurturing work environment. The company is devoted to your career advancement, offering mentorship, structured development pathways, and access to a broad spectrum of professional experiences that broaden clinical acumen and leadership capabilities. A culture of collaboration, respect, and open communication permeates every team, encouraging you to contribute ideas, share expertise, and pursue certifications or specializations that align with your goals.
