to bring add an experienced Clinical Director to the team! The
Clinical Director is responsible for the overall clinical
leadership, supervision, and quality of care provided within the
Behavioral Health and Partial Care Programs. This role ensures that
all clinical services are delivered in accordance with
evidence-based practices, regulatory requirements, and
accreditation standards while supporting staff development, client
outcomes, and program growth. The Clinical Director provides direct
supervision to clinical staff, oversees treatment planning, ensures
compliance with state and accrediting bodies, and collaborates
closely with executive leadership and operations. Essential Duties
and Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Program Oversight
Provide clinical oversight for all therapeutic services within the
Partial Care Program. Ensure the delivery of high-quality,
trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment. Establish and maintain
clinical policies, procedures, and protocols. Monitor program
effectiveness, outcomes, and client satisfaction. Participate in
program development, expansion, and continuous quality improvement
initiatives. Staff Supervision & Development Provide direct
clinical supervision to licensed clinicians, interns, and support
staff as applicable. Conduct regular individual and group
supervision in accordance with licensing board requirements.
Support staff competency, ethical practice, and professional
development. Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance
evaluations, corrective action, and staff retention efforts. Ensure
staff meet all training, credentialing, and continuing education
requirements. Compliance & Accreditation Ensure compliance with all
applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including NJ DOH
/ DMHAS requirements. Maintain compliance with Joint Commission
(TJC) standards and prepare for surveys and audits. Ensure
accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation and treatment
planning. Review and address incident reports, sentinel events,
grievances, and corrective action plans. Collaborate with
leadership on risk management and safety initiatives. Client Care &
Treatment Planning Oversee treatment planning, and discharge
planning processes. Ensure individualized, person-centered
treatment plans are developed, implemented, and updated timely.
Provide clinical consultation for complex cases and crises as
needed. Ensure continuity of care and appropriate referrals upon
discharge. Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and client
rights at all times. Collaboration & Administration Collaborate
with Executive Leadership, Operations, Admissions, Medical
Providers, and External Partners. Participate in interdisciplinary
team meetings and case conferences. Support utilization review,
insurance coordination, and clinical documentation requirements.
Assist with program budgeting, staffing models, and resource
allocation as needed. Represent the program professionally with
referral sources, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
Required Qualifications Masters degree or higher in Social Work,
Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
Active, unrestricted New Jersey clinical license (LCSW, LPC)
Minimum of 35 years of clinical experience in behavioral health
treatment. Minimum of 2 years of clinical leadership or supervisory
experience. Experience working in Partial Care / PHP, outpatient,
or higher levels of care preferred. Strong knowledge of
evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and ethical
standards. Working knowledge of Joint Commission standards and
state regulatory requirements.
