Job Description Job Description Hiring Full Time Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:30 am — 4:30 pm Tuesday: 7:00 am — 4:00 pm Friday – Sunday: Off If you are a dental assistant in the Chester County area passionate about cultivating positive patient experiences, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for an experienced and certified dental assistant to provide support to our dentists and provide high-quality dental care to our patients. Our ideal candidate has 2 or more years of dental practice experience, a current CDA / RDA license, and excellent service, organization, and communication skills. Benefits Paid vacation Paid holidays Funds put towards medical premiums Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly Responsibilities: Get treatment rooms ready for examination and procedures by equipping them with necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials. Polish teeth post-plaque removal. Answer any questions the patient may have about dental hygiene, schedule appointments for patient care follow-up, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures. Take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take X-rays of patients’ mouths, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if necessary. Assist dentists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team. Assure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use. Qualifications: Must possess a current state license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). Proficiency with computers, experience updating patient histories, and experience with dental software are necessary. Current BLS/CPR certification is required. X-ray certification is required.
