Job Description:

ChristianaCare seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care Rehabilitation team. This role focuses on providing high-quality, personalized care to patients undergoing various rehabilitation therapies after acute illnesses or invasive surgeries. The ideal candidate is committed to facilitating patient recovery, promoting health education, and supporting patients and their families during the rehabilitation process. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for rehabilitation patients. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans. Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery techniques, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate patient records and administer medication accurately. Uphold the highest standards of nursing practice and adhere to safety guidelines. Strong clinical skills in a rehabilitation setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems Capability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Compassion and patience with patients Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Delaware Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN) preferred
