Job Description Urology Physician Join Our Leading Healthcare Team as a Urology Physician and Make a Critical Difference in Patient Care We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Urology Physician to join our dynamic medical team in a prominent trauma level 1 facility. Required Skills: - Board certification or eligibility in Urology (BC or BE) - Valid PA medical license (or eligibility for expedited licensing) - DEA certification - Minimum of 1 year of urology clinical and surgical experience - Proficiency with EPIC EMR system - Skilled in core urological procedures including vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, penile procedures, lithotripsy, circumcision, and orchiopexy - Ability to perform robotic surgeries (preferred but not mandatory) - Excellent communication, patient management, and teamwork skills Nice to Have Skills: - Experience with robotic surgical systems - Ability to manage complexities of outpatient clinics and surgical cases - Prior experience with supervising APPs (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) - Knowledge of advanced urological instrumentation and techniques - Flexibility in managing emergency cases and rare pediatric scenarios Preferred Education and Experience: - Medical degree from an accredited institution - Residency and fellowship training in Urology - At least 1 year of post-training professional experience in urology practice and surgery - Familiarity with EPIC EMR Other Requirements: - Willingness to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with scheduled call coverage - Call responsibilities approximately 2 weeks per month, including nights and weekends, excluding designated weekends unless additional coverage is needed - Participation in surgical procedures at York Hospital and Apple Hill Surgery Center with access to 16 operating rooms - Support for outpatient clinic based in a trauma center environment - Compliance with all licensing, credentialing, and hospital privileges within 90 days - Ability to support occasional pediatric cases and manage emergency scenarios as needed This role offers competitive hourly pay of $443.43, along with comprehensive benefits including weekly direct deposit payments, medical insurance, licensure, certification assistance, travel reimbursements, and a rewarding referral bonus program.
