Job Description:

Are you a board-certified or board-eligible Urology Physician seeking a locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania? A facility near Middleport, PA, is seeking coverage for inpatient urology services.

• Schedule:
  • 1-2 weekends per month.
  • Coverage from Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM.
• Responsibilities:
  • Handle consultations from the emergency department and hospital.
  • Perform surgeries in the main OR.
  • Manage urology-specific cases including gross hematuria, stones, urine retention, and difficult catheter insertions.

• Age Range: Adolescents (16+) to geriatrics.
• Patient Volume: Average of 2-4 new consults per day.

• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • DEA and Pennsylvania CSR.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in general urology care.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Epic EMR.

• Privileges: Must be secured before start date ( 60 days).
• Orientation: 16 hours of non-billable orientation provided.
• Vaccination Requirements: Proof of flu vaccine or an approved exemption.

• Rates: Competitive hourly and call-back rates.
• Travel: Airfare, lodging, and rental car or mileage reimbursement provided.
