Job Description:
Huckberry is seeking an experienced and strategic Retail Store
Operations Manager to lead our retail team and drive the
operational success of our flagship Georgetown location, opening in
Summer 2025. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the
customer experience, own critical store operations, and contribute
to the success of our first brick-and-mortar store. We're looking
for a passionate individual who embodies the Huckberry spirit,
possesses strong leadership skills, and has a proven track record
of successful management in a dynamic retail setting.Reporting to
the General Manager, you will assist in general management
responsibilities while taking ownership of core store operational
functions. You will focus on enhancing efficiency, customer
satisfaction, and overall business performance. This role offers
significant growth potential and the chance to build a thriving
community of Huckberry enthusiasts.Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize inventory management processes, including
receiving, stock replenishment, maintaining accurate inventory
levels, and optimizing stock flow
- Oversee and manage POS system operations, ensuring efficient
transaction processing, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining
system integrity
- Generate and analyze sales reports, inventory reports, and
other key performance indicators to identify trends, opportunities,
and areas for improvement
- Assist in leading, coaching, and motivating the retail team to
deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals
- Ensure a consistently high-quality customer experience that
embodies the Huckberry brand and fosters customer loyalty
- Assist in maintaining and executing visual merchandising
standards to create an engaging and inspiring store
environment
- Assist in driving sales performance by providing excellent
product knowledge and personalized customer recommendations
- Support the General Manager in implementing and maintaining
retail processes and standards
- Assist in the planning and execution of in-store events and
promotions
- Maintain open communication with the General Manager and HQ
team to ensure alignment on store initiatives and promotions
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively and
efficientlyMinimum Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a retail sales store operations role
preferred
- A passion for the outdoors, adventure, and the Huckberry
brand
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate
weight
