Federalist Pig is opening a NEW location and is seeking a highly
skilled and motivated Broil/Grill Cook to join our culinary team.

benefits. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality meats,
seafood, and vegetables using broilers and grills to exact customer
specifications (e.g., steak temperatures: rare, medium-rare, etc.).
Set up and stock the grill station with all necessary supplies,
ingredients, and equipment before service. Monitor and manage grill
temperatures and cooking times to ensure consistency, quality, and
food safety standards are met at all times. Coordinate and
communicate effectively with other line cooks (sauté, fry, expo)
and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and seamless order
execution. Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and
hygiene regulations, including proper labeling, dating, and storage
of all food items. Assist with general food preparation (e.g.,
butchering meat, chopping vegetables, preparing marinades) and
other kitchen duties as assigned by the Executive or Sous Chef.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the
shift. Qualifications & Skills Proven Experience: Minimum of 2
years of experience as a Broil Cook, Grill Cook, in a high-volume
restaurant setting. Expertise: Deep understanding of various
grilling techniques, temperature control, and meat doneness.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to recipes, portion
control, and plate presentation. Stamina & Adaptability: Ability to
stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work effectively in
a hot, fast-paced, and demanding environment Team Player: Excellent
communication skills and a positive attitude, with the ability to
work collaboratively with the kitchen brigade.
