Job Description:
NeuroRestorative, -a member of the Sevita family, -provides
rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal
cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other
challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings,
we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy
programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants,
children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.
Life Skills Trainer
Do you have experience in human services and want to work for a

role.
- Provide and maintain an orderly, safe, clean, and warm
therapeutic environment within the Day Program.
- Assist with monitoring clients during breaks and lunchtime,
including behavioral concerns, bathroom assistance, and general
assistance as needed.
- Assist group leaders and/or run groups as defined by the
schedule.
- Assume responsibility for persons served needs/care for
cognitive therapists to enable them to return to their scheduled
therapies.
- Complete all required documentation as deemed necessary.
- Attend meetings with the team and the supervisor as deemed
necessary.
- Attend all training sessions as scheduled by the
supervisor.
- Treat clients with respect, dignity, and compassion at all
times.
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times and ensure
confidentiality of privileged information.
- Cooperate with the licensee and Department of Human Services in
any inspection or investigation.
- Complete all other duties and projects as assigned by
supervisor.
- Perform other related duties and activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Must maintain a current valid driver's license and all required
certifications and tests as required by state of operation
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the
ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships
- Self-motivated and collaborative; a team player Why Join
