Job Title Change Manager (ERP Integration) Location Wilmington, DE Employment Type Direct Hire Position Summary Our client is currently looking for an Organizational Change Manager Project Manager, with enterprise change management experience around ERP implementations. This position reports into the Project Management Office in our clientrsquos national headquarters based in Wilmington, DE. The primary purpose of this role is to lead, oversee, and ensure the successful development and adoption of organizational change management (OCM) practices into the organizationrsquos operations to achieve the desired business outcomes. This position is responsible for executing and providing visibility into the organizationrsquos change management efforts and owns all change-oriented workstreams from an organizational and human perspective. They create change management strategies and develop the change workstreams that maximize employeesrsquo change readiness and adoption of those strategies by focusing on activities that help individual stakeholders understand, adjust to and adopt new practices, processes or tools. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have an outgoing personality, consistently demonstrated mental agility, very strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude with a tenacious desire to learn. They should also have a determined work ethic and be confident to tackle new challenges. Primary Responsibilities and Activities Promotes the business vision with a benefit framework that links adoption of change to successful business outcomes. Employs a structured change management methodology to facilitate change and promote commitment to adapt to the change. Knows how to tailor this methodology to be culturally appropriate for the enterprise and program. Prepares for change by assessing the magnitude of change and the organizationrsquos change readiness. Identifies pitfalls and potential points of challenge or change aversion. Develops counter-strategies to mitigate or minimize potential issues. Conducts thorough methodological investigations to identify key stakeholders impacted by the change. Determines appropriate timing of that change. Conducts an environment scan to identify potential challenges for stakeholders, such as skills gaps, doubts and uncertainties, to foster a positive acceptance of change. Tailors change management plans (training and orientation) to accommodate the needs of the different stakeholder groups impacted. Creates a communications strategy and plan to ensure all employees are fully aware of impending changes. Create mechanisms to de-emphasize old behaviors and encourage new desired ones. This process may involve redesigning job tasks and defining new behavioral competencies and performance metrics. Conducts an impact assessment for stakeholders affected by the change items. Regularly reviews the stakeholder community to assess potential change fatigue. Identifies and provides leadership for change agents and change advocates within the stakeholder community by involving trusted informal leaders to create employee understanding and influence successful organizational change. Promotes and provides ongoing coaching and mentoring about change management practices to senior leadership, stakeholder managers and project managers to increase their effectiveness in driving sustainable change. Organizational Change Manager Project Manager Performs quantitative assessment of change success and change adoption. Solicits feedback from stakeholders to determine the success of change management activities and ensure that behavioral changes align with strategic objectives. Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications Four-year degree Business, MIS, IT, or comparable degree strongly preferred Certification such as CCMP, ADKARProsci, CMS or other change management methodology certification preferred 3-5 years of experience with organizational change management in a corporate setting Prior experience with an ERP implementation preferred (Workday ERP preferred) Familiarity with project management methodologies (for example, PMI, Prince II and Agile) and project-planning tools preferred Good understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them to drive digital business Interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels within the enterprise Strong organizational, documentation and time management skills Personal Attributes Proactive self-starter with professional maturity and confidence Hungry for the next challenge and the next opportunity to learn Mental agility to fully understand both the complex business issues and how the solutions being developed will impact those issues A strong sense of ownership, accountability and follow-through Team player, adaptable, flexible, and able to handle multiple simultaneous projects Strong organizational, documentation and time management skills Exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills required Ability to lead and motivate others, demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills, because this is a highly visible position with substantial impact Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence This full-timepermanent position is with one of the fastest growing companies in the nation!
