Job Description:

We are in search of a Software Applications Developer for our client in the communications industry. They are looking for someone who is excellent at developing applications in a .NET framework. • Design, develop and maintain applications using modern mobile and object-oriented programming techniques.
• Responsible for successful and on-time delivery of new features, enhancements, and improvements to customers and business users with high-quality results.
• Develop well-informed schedules for projects worked and execute work and report status against task plans.
• Responsible for operational support and escalation processes to minimize the impact of system outages on consumer products
• Establish and maintain specifications to conduct design and code reviews to produce high-quality designs and solutions against requirements, guidelines, and performance expectations.
• Define and perform unit and integration testing providing measurable results.
• Develop and facilitate knowledge transfer by developing efficient training collaterals.
• Identify deficiencies in processes and influence changes driving the efficiency and quality.
• Become an SME with all of our products and service offerings; possesses a solid knowledge of our competitor's products and services; understands the dynamics related to the industries they participate in; Qualifications:
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience
  • 3-5 years developing business applications including design and development of highly modular object-oriented code with extensibility
  • Must be highly proficient in C#, .NET Framework, EF, Angular, and Angular JS
  • Any Experience with the .NET Core is a plus
  • Must have experience working with web services (SOAP, REST)
  • Should have excellent knowledge and demonstrated development experience in user interfaces, multi-tier architectures, and asynchronous processes
  • Must have strong communication abilities to articulate technology-based decisions
  • Experience in building quality industry-standard coding practices
  • Experience in Test Driven Development, unit testing, and dependency injection (DI)
  • Experience in Media or Communications industry and any exposure to VOD and online advertising is a plus
  • Must have strong project management and resource management skills.
  • Must have strong communication abilities to articulate technology-based decision
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced continual learning environment with the ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies to solve business issues.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into effective requirements and programming initiatives
